For a truly vintage theme, go for small patterns that are usually pretty, often floral and generally in primary colours. Here, budding flowers and budgies festoon the room, although if you’re not a pal of Alfred Hitchcock’s work, this might not be the scheme for you.¬†Furnishings are kept simple and painted in bright shades. Finishing touches (trimmings on the lampshade and cushions) meanwhile show a careful attention to detail and draw the whole scheme together.¬†http://bit.ly/1llSI69

Such a pretty room. I love how its all pulled together by the gorgeous yellow chest of drawers and chair. A stunning feature, which drawers out the yellow in the wallpaper.
