At first glance, it looks like they have opted for a wide stripe wallpaper in this bathroom, which wouldn’t be very practical.
But it’s actually tongue and groove panelling which has been painted in two harmonising tones of grey paint for a striking and different take on country style.
But what really caught my eye, was the fabulous Georgian dresser, which has been transformed into an elegant washstand. As the owner of one very practical, but ugly, white bathroom cabinet, I am most impressed.
Dark oak beams blend into the striped theme and an ornate gilt mirror picks out the cabinets golden fixtures and completes the oppulent scheme.
