It’s the 14th February today – and we all know what that means. Yes, it’s the day we start sprinkling slug pellets on our flower beds, to prevent the little critters from eating all our plants. Which hopefully means our gardens will look like this, come summer.
Here, the spires of Delphinium ‘Pacific Giant’ and a profusion of old-fashioned moss roses help create an impressive, traditional garden.
The pair of striking restored greenhouses, blend in wonderfully with their surroundings and provide a real talking point in this beautiful garden.
And, no, of course I haven’t forgotten. I know that the 14th February is also National Ferris Wheel Day.
